Amie Borg was nominated for the DAISY Nurse Educator Award in recognition of her compassion and dedication to nursing and nursing education. She consistently demonstrates an unbiased commitment to students and faculty. Amie fosters a positive influence toward students and their personal and professional growth. She leads by example. Amie has embraced her role in preparing students for success throughout the registered nursing program. One of Amie's greatest strengths is the ability to work with students near graduation. Her ability to assist students in fine-tuning their individual needs to prepare for NCLEX success is phenomenal. I believe Amie embodies the spirit of the DAISY Award through her dedication and positive impact on the overall excellence of our nursing program. Her positive impact has positively influenced students to excel and strive for excellence.
