Nurse Practitioner Millar included me in every step of the way, her thought process and decisions.  I felt that we worked as a team.  It was incredible to have a provider who really cared for their patient.
I would like to acknowledge Agata Izabela Millar for her outstanding job as a nurse practitioner.  She listened to my concerns and worked hard to figure out my baffling test results.  My primary care provider kept dismissing my concerns, and I am truly grateful that Nurse Practitioner Millar took me seriously.

I was having a hard time getting into providers, and on my first visit with her, I knew immediately that she was amazing.  I have a complicated medical history and it was evident that she thoroughly reviewed my chart with her list of specific questions that she asked me. At that time, I was experiencing severe fatigue, abdominal pain, constipation, recovering from an appendectomy, and elevated lab tests.  She listened to me and thoroughly answered all my questions.  She continued investigating when the test results did not reveal a definitive medical answer.  She never gave up!

Nurse Practitioner Millar included me in every step of the way, her thought process and decisions.  I felt that we worked as a team.  It was incredible to have a provider who really cared for their patient.  The answer to my symptoms finally came after we performed an MRI of the liver and biliary system.  I was relieved that the diagnosis for the liver was benign and nothing alarming in the biliary system.  However, we were surprised to discover a mass in another area.  I was diagnosed with Aggressive Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma Stage 3.

Nurse Practitioner Millar helped facilitate the core biopsy and appointment with the doctor from Oncology during a really confusing time for me. I feel that Nurse Practitioner Agata Millar saved my life by her listening, caring, and persistence. If I had listened to my primary care physician, my story would have been very different, with a negative outcome. She is amazing and needs to be recognized for her dedication to her patients!
