My husband had the pleasure of having Melissa Ramirez twice during his 10 day stay. She was a breath of fresh air. She came on shift the day after my husband was cleared to have a shower, after 8 days of no shower. There were some hang ups in the room we were in, no shower head and the other nurse the night before forgot to come back with towels and to cover his wound. My husband was feeling very frustrated and his mood was low. As soon as Melissa heard the situation she did everything in her power to quickly get him ready for his shower. She brought extra towels just in case and totally understood that showering was going to make him feel better. While he was showering she changed all of his bedding and had a fresh made bed to come back to. It might seem like a small task but Melissa’s actions and compassion meant the world to us. Melissa is an amazing nurse, she loves what she does and we can definitely feel that. Thank you Melissa!
