My daughter was admitted to the emergency room at Central Carolina Hospital for new-onset seizures. As a father, the last place you want to see your family is in the emergency department. There are always stories about how bad care is in emergency rooms across America. I know from my experience that the ER is marginally staffed, but despite all the negatives going through my mind, I found her care to be amazing! The emergency room doctor was outstanding. Three nurses initially stabilized her, and all three did a wonderful job. Holly, who was assigned to her room, was incredible. She certainly made the family feel like my daughter was her first and only priority. She was warm, kind, and extremely efficient. She kept the emergency room physician and the family well informed. She was a very calming influence on a stressful situation. An instance like this can be very frightening, but she took care of us in a timely, efficient, and caring manner. As a member of the staff here at Central Carolina Hospital for more than 30 years, I was so proud of the great care that my daughter received and the great staff in the emergency department, particularly Holly. I will always be forever grateful! She continues to exceed expectations and provide evidence of strong work ethics.
