What really made him stand out to me was the fact that he came to Mother Baby to check on me after I had an emergency C-Section. Not only did he come to check on me, but he also brought me some goodies.
I had my first child recently. My nurse went above and beyond to make my experience excellent. When I was first admitted, I had a delivery bed; since I wasn't going to start labor until the next day, he switched my bed to a more comfortable one so I could get some rest before they started the process. I had eaten before we came to the hospital, so I thought I wasn't hungry anymore. He did offer me dinner, but I wasn't hungry when he asked. I asked for snacks a little later into the night, and not only did he bring me snacks, but he also brought me a variety. He even brought me fruit since I had asked for it. He was VERY kind and warm, friendly, to say the least. He made sure to ask if I needed anything before he left the room. He also checked on me and helped my nurses when he wasn't even assigned to me. What really made him stand out to me was the fact that he came to Mother Baby to check on me after I had an emergency C-Section. Not only did he come to check on me, but he also brought me some goodies. I had talked about REALLYYYYY wanting Sprite and apple juice while I was in labor. He bought a pack of small Sprites and a bottle of apple juice for me. He went above and beyond, and I appreciate his efforts greatly. He made me feel cared for and comforted, considering the circumstances. You can tell he loves what he does, and that alone makes the experience excellent.
