I am a patient here at Heartland and I have known this nurse since 2011. She was pretty new here when we first met but right away she was very caring and selfless. What stands her out above the rest is her dedicated service not only to this hospital but to me and all the other patients. She does her best to tend to every patient in not only a professional manner but with genuine care and love that every nurse should display. She is patient, kind, and attentive, and shows her dedication by going above and beyond the expectations of this hospital and by working countless mandated shifts and sacrificing her personal time for the good of us all. She has conversations with us and meets us in those conversations without judging, but with a truly empathetic understanding that I wish I had found in my own mother. I consider her a trusted friend, along with seeing her as an authority. I trust her judgment when I can’t trust my own. The least I can do is tell you how great she is. Thank you.
