Before I left, Teresa explained everything that I needed to know about my meds, taking care of myself at home, and what to watch out for, too!
I had a heart ablation by Dr. G. All my experiences and encounters with the hospital and medical staff were excellent.
My heart was put back into sinus rhythm, but in the recovery room, Teresa noticed that there was a very large knot in my groin area with significant swelling. It was tender to the touch, and I was very much aware of the knot. Teresa was concerned about possible bleeding, too, so she took immediate action and applied pressure. It took a long time for the situation to be resolved but she never wavered from the task, making sure that I was going to be just fine. My wife, P, and I were so thankful for Teresa’s reassurance. That everything was fine. After a long day, I was discharged, and we could go home. Before I left, Teresa explained everything that I needed to know about my meds, taking care of myself at home, and what to watch out for, too! We felt greatly comforted not only by her nursing skills but also by her care and compassion and going the extra mile.
This is probably a minor situation compared to everyone else’s, but to us, we just have to say, “Thanks!” It meant the world to us. I am now doing well at home, and I’m going back to swimming this week! No sweat!
