I want to thank my nursing staff for the wonderful support that I was provided during my stay at HUP. However, in particular, Nurse LaTanya (Tanya) Butcher went above and beyond with the service given to me. Her professionalism and demeanor made my stay similar to staying as a family member. She deeply made me feel very cared for under the most difficult medical battle that I am fighting.

Tonya was incredibly caring and supportive when I had an episode of nausea. This really made my night so much better. We were able to get my nausea under control because she advocated to the doctor on call. She has such a great bedside manner and I truly felt like I was in good hands under her watch. Thanks for being such an awesome nurse!

Tanya was amazing. I didn’t have anyone staying with me the night after my double mastectomy, but she was immediately like extended family. She comforted me throughout the night, was ahead of my care and so wonderful in every way. I’ve since experienced other nurses but Tanya is just above and beyond. She has a big heart, a wonderful calm demeanor and brought a smile to my face. She’s wonderful.
