Carolyn is a true gem! It is obvious she is well-loved, as I witnessed her interacting with her co-workers. Having her as my nurse while recovering solidified my opinion. Everybody who took care of me during my time in the surgery center was amazing—too many to remember all the names. However, Carolyn had an additional sparkle when caring for me (and my husband.) She made sure we were comfortable at all times, was pleasant to talk with, brought both my husband and me lunch because my recovery went well past lunchtime, and so much more.

For the past four years, I have been in and out of hospitals for various surgeries, including a rare tumor in my eye. 2023 was not a good year for me. Out of all the staff in the various hospitals I’ve been to for different reasons, Carolyn is definitely the diamond in the collection of precious gems. She got my 2024 off to a great start with her caring, attentive personality. My hope is that this most recent surgery will be the last for a long while, but if it’s not, I hope I have Carolyn as my nurse.
