After having had three kids, and each at a different Hospital, I can strongly say that the care I got from Kenzie has been the best. She was so positive towards me, my husband, and my family. She was so attentive to my and my husband’s needs. When it came time for me to make choices about delivery, she was right there, encouraging me that I could have my baby unmedicated. And ready to support me through my first unmedicated birth that was not planned. She showed us how to do counter pressure during contractions. She helped me to stay as relaxed and calm as I could, especially while I screamed at her just before delivering.

The after-delivery care was just as important to her as pre-delivery and delivery care. I didn't ever feel like I was a burden or just another patient she had to care for. I truly made a friend in the few short minutes that we met and the short time there. My favorite part of Kenzie's care was sharing stories and watching a comedic YouTube video together, and we both laughed hard.

Kenzie is the only nurse I have returned to see so that she could see the baby's growth and meet my other kids. Like I said earlier, I felt like I made a great friend in a short time. Kenzie does her job with her whole heart, and I can tell she loves her job. Thank You, Kenzie! Congratulations on receiving the DAISY Award this year!
