There is not one day that this nurse does not give 150% to every patient and the needs of the unit. She is devoted to going granular on every patient's needs to find the best possible route to assist them with the care they need during their admission, but she is also driven to ensure they have what they need to be safely discharged home. 

She is supportive of clinical areas as well by assisting with acute patient care situations, starting IVs, or just showing team members how to remove a central line or deaccess a port. She is also a leader by supporting the team, educating them on what will support patient care, pushing the newer nurses to learn how to look into the chart for notes and plan of care so they can be aware and drivers of the nursing plan of care- proactive and empowered. 

I have also witnessed multiple occasions where she brought team members to the office to walk them through prisms, managing a difficult patient situation, and also documentation of a difficult situation with a provider. She takes the time to help the newer nurses plan of care, orders, processes, and openly communicates with everyone in the best possible manner to help the patients from a nursing perspective. She provides cornerstone support for 5 Main and exemplifies BayCare values, a dedicated leader who loves her role and loves the people she works with.
