She makes her patients feel at ease and settles new parents' worries. Every day, she helps moms and babies begin and continue breastfeeding.
Lisa is an incredible team member of the Fremont Pediatric team. She is an exceptional Nurse, who gives compassionate care to our patients and their parents, they simply love her. Lisa puts a lot of energy into what she does and is very passionate about what she calls a “lactation nurse consultant.” Lisa has received numerous positive feedback from our parents about how comfortable she made them feel during their visit and how patient she was during their struggle to get their baby to latch on during breastfeeding. Lisa received the Caring Moments Recognition award in August 2022, and we celebrate her as she receives the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
For this nomination period, Lisa received four patient nominations, all using adjectives to describe her as nice, professional, pleasant, thorough, helpful, patient, and kind. She answers questions with sincerity and depth, allowing time to learn something new at every appointment. She makes her patients feel at ease and settles new parents' worries. Every day, she helps moms and babies begin and continue breastfeeding.
The comments included:
“She is the best.”
“We will recommend her to every parent we know.”
“She helped me ease into the difficult breastfeeding journey, and although not rocket science, it can be much harder.”
