I would like to give Amber from PACU a shout-out. She was with me for 6+ hours on Tuesday while I waited for a bed on the 3rd floor. Amber went above and beyond for me ensuring that I was as comfortable as I could be considering the circumstances. My family was unable to be with me in PACU, but they were anxious to be by my side. Amber called my family to keep them updated as well as keeping me updated. It meant so much to me to have an attentive nurse who showed compassion and empathy in all of the chaos that was going on around her. I feel that Amber truly is a DAISY Nurse.
