Gina Casanova’s compassion saved my life. She did not give up. She listened and was aware of my suffering.
I had no idea how I was going to make it. Gina Casanova’s compassion saved my life. She did not give up. She listened and was aware of my suffering. In her listening I managed to see a pinpoint of light that was not there before.

Instead of giving up I would reach out by walking in and or calling. I appreciate her being attentive. She paid close attention and let me know about the walk-in appointments. The walk-in appointments gave me hope. She asked me questions and helped me discover solutions.

She was responsive when the bottom was falling out, returning calls and being an amazing listener. Her intelligence and kind demeanor made the light of hope grow. She was so nice. I appreciate her unconditional kindness and patience with me at all my lowest points.

She goes above and beyond by bringing water and healthy snacks for our appointments, and there were times when that snack was a meal when I was broke. No matter how busy she was I could count on her returning calls and scheduling me to see her as soon as there was an opening. She remembered lots of details by taking great notes and reminding me about taking accountability for my own self-care. She let me know I am not the only one dealing with life issues.

Today I feel like I have a life worth living and I am a valuable member of society. I give and receive love from many, and I love my family, friends, my recovery circles, my groups, and my beloved care givers.
