My family member was in a horrible car crash and got lots of injuries to his heart and lungs and brain and had to stay in the ICU for a couple of days. All the nurses and doctors were amazing, but one particular Night Nurse, Mary Zheng, was outstanding. She reminded me of the nurses you see on TV. She was so caring, always would update us on the plan for the day and how they were doing. She checked in on us and even went above and beyond when you took the time to explain exactly what happened medically. She told us exactly what kind of fracture they had and what the orthopedic doctors had done to fix it. She touched our hearts with her care and empathy. She filled us with a hope that was difficult to have at the time. When it was time to discharge, We were glad we did not get to say bye the night before. So I filled this out to properly thank her for everything that she did from my family. She represents the picture of extraordinary and compassionate nursing.
