Dr. Harvey has consistently shown love, compassion, and patience both in the classroom setting and clinical experiences. He uses humor appropriately and seeks to relax both the faculty and students when he is around. He cares deeply for students and knows them by name. He works hard to meet requests and to partner with faculty to ensure we can reach our full potential.  

Dr. Harvey is an example of the unique talents, skills, and quiet strength that male nurses bring to the field of nursing. 

Dr. Harvey has continued LUSON's culture of caring, compassion, and excellence by the way he courageously leads his students in the hospital and classroom setting. It is not an easy job, and he handles a great deal of stress and pressure with the humility and joy of Christ. Dr. Harvey inspires his students to pursue excellence in their academic achievements but also in their clinical experiences. In this way, Dr. Harvey is promoting the mission of LU to train champions for Christ and LUSON to raise up nurses to be the hands and feet of Christ around the world.
