Throughout all my years of OBGYN care while suffering with severe PTSD, I have never before had someone with me like Samantha I am absolutely overwhelmed by how much care she showed me during my exam. These exams can be awful for me and she noticed my distress without me having to voice it. She held my hands and whispered to me, and helped me breathe. When it was over, she said, "I'm so proud of you for taking care of yourself". She is truly a special soul and a gift to nursing. Her compassion and patience are immeasurable and beyond compare. I will probably still dread these appointments in the future and put them off for too long but I wouldn't if every nurse was like her. Samantha, not only touched my life, but my heart.
