Kaitlyn Blankenship was my nurse basically my entire time in the ICU, but in particular during my toughest times. I came in at my lowest point with an infection, DKA, and complete exhaustion. She was always as knowledgeable as she could be about my case, and kept in constant communication with everyone (doctors, lab, my family and myself). She helped me and my family feel comfortable. She seemed eager to learn and to teach, wherever needed. She has a calming demeanor and never made me feel stupid for asking questions or like a burden. I came in feeling absolutely terrible, and I left feeling so much better and I owe a lot of that to Kaitlyn.

This nurse’s dedication, compassion, and expertise made a significant impact on our family’s experience during a challenging time. From the moment my mother entered the SICU, the nurse exhibited a level of professionalism and competence that immediately put us at ease. Their attention to detail and quick responsiveness to changes in my mother’s condition were nothing short of impressive. It was evident that this nurse had a deep understanding of critical care and the ability to navigate complex medical situations with skill and confidence.

Moreover, the nurses’ collaborative approach with the entire healthcare team was evident. They worked seamlessly with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to my mother’s care. The collaborative effort undoubtedly played a crucial role in her overall recovery. In conclusion, the care provided by this ICU nurse was nothing short of exceptional. Our family is immensely grateful for her dedication, kindness, and expertise. She not only contributed to my mother’s physical wellbeing but also provided the emotional support that made a significant difference during a challenging time. I wholeheartedly recommend this nurse to anyone in need of compassionate and skilled critical care. Unfortunately, my mother passed during her stay, but Kaitlyn went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable and that we understood what was happening. I am very thankful Kaitlyn was one of my mother’ nurses.

My mother in law had to spend a few days in the ICU unit after having some complications after surgery. Kaitlyn went way out of her way to make my mother in law feel comfortable and at ease with what was going on. She was very helpful to my wife and me, and let us know what they were doing and made my wife feel at ease. She made the process so much easier to deal with. I would recommend for her to be me or any of my family's nurses at any time. Just an awesome and caring nurse that very much seems like she loves her job.

Kaitlyn was one of the nurses that took care of my Uncle during his illness and end of life. She was so kind and very informative and included family members by advising on his treatment, medication and was so patient in answering our questions. She is a wonderful nurse and Hamilton Medical is very fortunate to have her as a dedicated and selfless employee.

Kaitlyn was my Mom’s day nurse for three days. She was so kind and comforting to my Mom and our family. My Mother has short term memory issues. She continuously kept forgetting why she was in the hospital and what had happened. Kaitlyn was patient with her every time she asked and answered questions every time. We appreciated her kind demeanor and overall support for our family. She took amazing care of my Mom. It was her kindness that helped us through. We appreciate her tremendously!
