The perfect nurse to practice the nursing core values, and she is very professional.
I shadowed Mairiam Berglund as a student. It was fun, I learned a lot from her. Very soon, I want to be a nurse like her. She is just simply full of knowledge. Even when we are busy, she is selfless, she helps her co-nurse’s. Soon I will be a nurse too like her.

I had many nurses, but I recognized that she always updated me and my white board, and she always takes her time to listen. She answers all my needs. Her personality helped me overcome my depression. Miriam makes me laugh and always says keep smiling. She is extraordinary, the most organized nurse I’ve ever had. I’m going home with a happy heart and a happy smile.

This is the only gratitude I can express to my nurse Mairiam. I am homeless and I cannot afford anything. My social worker gives me clothes but not a place to stay. No one could help me. I go home without a shelter to live in and it’s cold. The only person who helped me was Mairiam. She made sure I had an inhaler to breathe, a tent so I would not be cold outside. I can eat tonight. Thank you, Mairiam, for when everyone turned me down because I’m just poor. Mairiam was the only one that could understand me. She saved my life and welcomed me.
