Scott is the epitome of skilled patient care, melded with compassion, kindness, patience, and genuine love for his work. He does his job for all the right reasons. Scott has been extremely caring and patient with our family during my mother’s extended hospital stay and never treated us as a hindrance to his work.

He went above and beyond his scope of work to come and check on our mom when she stepped down out of the ICU and even advocated for her there when he saw her declining. He stepped up to make sure she’d be in his care again when she had to go back to the ICU. He has been on top of his game with his patients and their families and has treated us all with the utmost respect, dignity, kindness, and excellent nursing care. He has made my mom and my family feel like an extension of his family, and we are forever grateful to him for his true heart of gold in loving people, as they deserve to be loved in some of the most trying times of our lives. He is a surprising, refreshing light in medical darkness, and he brings a calm peace and confidence in uncertain times that not many people are gifted to do. I feel Scott is most deserving of this honor!
