Our dear mom has fallen and slowly deteriorated this year. While it has been trying for us to experience the changes, we have felt support and love from the Heber Hospital staff. We have been to many hospitals, and we have never felt more important and involved as we have here. It is a relief to know that there are people working to make our lives and burden easier and lighter…. Each nurse explained vital signs and medications but one did the extra…..Melissa came in with a smile and energy that ultimately helped Mom get out of bed and try again. She is the energizer bunny! She shared pictures of her farm animals and boys’ sports and even helped Mom watch a replay of her BYU game that she had missed. The last day I came to visit, I found them listening to Mom and Dad’s wedding song, and I couldn’t believe the time that was spent giving my mom another chance. Melissa wouldn’t let Mom lay in bed and give up, and she is now two weeks into physical therapy and walking! Thank you, sweetie, God bless you!
