Shayla was a special nurse for me. She was always tuned into how I was doing the whole time she was on duty. She tried so hard to put an IV in my left arm, but my veins just wouldn’t cooperate. My IV was in the bend of my right arm, causing me some problems, so she wanted to help me. She was able to give me suggestions on how to use my right arm (IV sill in) to help make my stay more pleasant. Shayla was also a wonderful person to talk to. We talked about recipes several times, I love to cook. We also talked about our families. I will always remember her and how she made my stay as pleasant as it could be. She deserves many special awards. Ascension St. Vincent Clay is lucky to have her.
