I would like to recognize Ashley for going over and above their job description. I have stage 4 Pancreatic cancer and recently had a plural drain installed in my left lung. We had a vacation and needed to take drain kits with us. This was a trip of a lifetime to Hawaii! However, the wrong type of kits were given and delivered to us. With just one day before we were supposed to leave or cancel our trip, Ashley started making calls to departments in the hospital. Not only did this nurse find some drain kits, but arranged to meet my husband on the way home from work so I could take my dream trip of a lifetime to Hawaii!! I will be forever grateful for Ashley and the kindness and willingness, to be a part of fulfilling my dream. Thank you, Ashley, for your surmounting kindness and generosity.

Ashley continuously gives all to every single one of their patients. She takes on their entire situations, guides them, cries with them, and supports them through their entire cancer journey. She is the complete definition of a nurse, with added empathy and sweetness. Our patients and our entire team are lucky to have her. Ashley absorbs the patients' issues, and problems, and sadness and makes it hers. We need more nurses, friends, and people like her!
