Chris became my nurse on Christmas morning. He said he would be taking care of me, and that's what he did. The first thing he did was notice a stain on the floor by my bed. Chris called the housekeeper to come in and clean. I think he checked on me every hour and he asked if I needed or wanted anything. If I wanted juice or ice water, he got it for me. On one visit he knew I was scheduled for a breathing treatment which I haven't received. He spoke with someone, and within an hour someone was there.

On another visit, he heard me ordering lunch and when he returned an hour later, I still hadn’t gotten my meal. Chris made a call and got it for me. When he said he was going to take care of me, he really did. On another visit, he noticed a stain on my sheet from an accident I had. Chris called housekeeping and they changed my sheets. I’ve been in and out of this hospital since 2020 Chris is the best nurse I've ever had, and this is the first time I asked someone if there was any way I could tell the hospital about how excellent he treated me, and Chris gave me this form. I didn't know they had an award but if anyone deserves this it's Chris; I thank him with all my heart. I don't want to be in the hospital again, but if I am, I would love to be on the unit Chris is working.
