Nurse Emilie is the best! I am legally blind, and Emilie was my nurse after a procedure I had. I came back and Emilie saw that I was bleeding from the procedure site as the glue utilized had not adhered appropriately. I started to get nervous, but Emilie's calm approach and reassurance made me feel safe and secure. She calmed my fears and anxiety and always maintained a calm voice. She placed a towel where I was bleeding and applied pressure while waiting for the doctor to call back. She ensured to have all the necessary supplies ready in my room for when the doctor arrived so that he could suture the area closed and I stopped bleeding. Now whenever I hear Emilie greet me as she walks into my room, I immediately feel at ease and am certain I am safe and going to receive exceptional care.
