When my son was very ill, Codi showed so much compassion to my son as well as explained everything that she and everyone else was doing to him. Codi talked him through everything so that he was not scared. He is very scared of needles and hospitals, for that matter. Any fear he had, Codi talked and comforted him through it. Codi also answered any of my concerns as well as advocated for my son when it came time to transfer him.

Codi is not just a great nurse. She is also a great co-worker. I have worked side-by-side with her for almost 2 years now and I have watched her care for many and show so much compassion during their care. She is also the first to jump in and help, even if it isn't her patient. She is someone I look up to and have learned so much from during my time in the ER. Codi deserved to be recognized for truly being an EXTRAORDINARY NURSE!
