I believe Christina's critical thinking and rapid recognition potentially saved me from a lot more discomfort.
Where do I start? This was my 15th surgery, and I have never had such a caring, detailed, pleasant caregiver. From the start, she had just received three new admits, me being one. She did not act flustered, rushed, or frustrated once. Immediately, she noticed a rash on my arm and neck. Without hesitation, she called out to the doctor to get treatment started. Her attention to detail is outstanding! The level of professionalism and the way she made me feel at ease when my anxiety started creeping in is probably the best I have ever had. We immediately had an amazing rapport and fell into a conversation as if we were old friends. I am a paramedic and an RN, so we were able to communicate with ease.

She explained everything thoroughly and really showed her depth of knowledge and skill. I believe her critical thinking and rapid recognition potentially saved me from a lot more discomfort. I really can’t sing her praises enough. She made sure we followed the care plan and didn’t hesitate to advocate for me when I wasn’t getting pain relief. Again, she is probably the strongest patient advocate I have ever had on my care team. She made sure I was settled in and as comfortable as I could be. She managed her time so well. You would never have known she had three new patients.

Through the night, she made sure we kept my pain at a tolerable level. I was able to get a restful night of sleep, which helped me have a great morning and be ready to go home. Her bedside report was very well presented and in depth. She explained in detail what had proven to be the most therapeutic plan for me.

Your company is extremely blessed to have such a caring, knowledgeable, and patient-centered nurse on staff. I haven’t had any nurse that compares, and I have written these out several times, but Christina takes the cake 100% (even though she was insistent that I did not need to nominate her for this).
