I have been a patient for six weeks and Ben has gone over and beyond the call of duty. Over my six week stay in Healdsburg, Ben has been my RN many times and helped me through the highs and lows of healing. I had to go through extensive IV antibiotic regimen to save my foot. He has really been there for me. I am a single homeless man without family. He serves me my medications plus talked with me when he had extra time. And on my birthday, he caught me off guard by giving me a gift. I had been a little depressed, thinking nobody cared about me. Ben not only helped me heal by serving me medications, but he helped me lift my spirits by showing me love and compassion.  He is the greatest. Thank you, Ben!

Ben was the first of her nurses that I encountered, and he impressed me so much with his calm and care. The only time I have ever heard my friend say she felt "safe" in a hospital was when Ben was on shift- and she said it consistently. From Santa Rosa to Seattle, she has always expressed her fear of hospital surroundings and staff while in care until Ben was her nurse. I honestly believe that having Ben as her initial nurse set the tone and helped her form positive bonds with the rest of her nurses throughout her stay.​
