Nelly Harper took the time out of her busy day to treat her patient to a “spa day.” Her patient was getting ready to go to rehab for an extended length of time and she wanted to make sure he went feeling the best he could feel and ready to participate so that he could get his strength back. She turned on his favorite music and proceeded to give him a fresh shave and haircut. The patient stated he has never been cared for in that manner in any hospital he has ever been to. She was his angel and there was no one better. She helped care for him and not only physically, but mentally as well. He felt like a “billionaire yacht owner”. When he was through he wanted to recognize her for taking the time out of her day to make him feel appreciated and valued. She exemplifies every star service behavior each and every day for all of her patients.
