She has chosen to use her experience for good and to help other immigrant families that have come behind her. She inspires the rest of the leadership team to do the same.
Jennie's love and dedication to the PICU are felt and appreciated by all. She is a strong advocate for our LES families and has spearheaded our Interpreter Services utilizing projects in the unit. She has also worked closely with our Interpreters to build a dashboard that captures our data accurately. She personally follows up on any issue that arises that prevents us from providing daily updates to our LES families. She is passionate about ensuring that all of our families get the same access and services available to them. She knows this firsthand from personal experience as a daughter of immigrants who speak limited English. She has chosen to use her experience for good and to help other immigrant families that have come behind her. She inspires the rest of the leadership team to do the same. She models advocacy by reminding all of us that we can make a difference. All we need to do is look around us, and we may see and find people who need extra attention or support. This is with our patients and their families, along with our colleagues working beside us. Jennie leads with grace and joy even when she is stretched thin. She has boundless energy and optimism. Her passion and commitment to Packard runs deep. She commutes weekly from Southern California (her family/husband and two kids live in SoCal).
She works tirelessly to ensure that our nurses are supported and have what they need to do their jobs safely and efficiently. We are very lucky to have such a caring and dedicated CNS in PICU as part of our leadership team. Jennie inspires us all to bring our best selves to work!
