My mother, 79 years old, was transferred from Culpeper ER to UVA PWM Regional Hospital early in the morning. All of the nurses took her really good care of during the day and night. One particular nurse, Liberty, stood out, meeting all our expectations of care! She went beyond all the criteria, especially when she returned on her day off to bring my mother flowers. She made my mom laugh and eased her mind when she started to get anxious. Liberty really showed her compassion and encouraged her to be strong and stay positive. We all loved her and trusted Mom in her care. I do hope she is rewarded for her dedication and hard work. She is a gem.
