Since joining Whitney's team, I have grown so much professionally and personally. Whitney consistently leads from the front and takes the time to grow her team. Whether it's answering questions or training you on a new procedure or policy, Whitney ensures you are confident in what you are doing. Whitney takes your ideas into consideration and truly wants everyone to feel involved in projects and tasks. When Whitney interacts with veterans, she presents positive and helpful energy. She could be walking a Veteran to an appointment, or helping a Veteran get their jacket on, she does both tasks with care and commitment. I have family who are veterans who regularly utilize the VA services. If they were in Whitney's care, or the care of her team, I know they would receive the best care possible. There are not many supervisors or managers with the capacity to not only lead but develop a team. Whitney does this with ease. She is a true leader who embodies the ideals of the I CARE principles.
