I have ulcerative colitis and I have been receiving IV treatment for the past several years. I first met Nurse Lina Tannouri when she worked in the Same Day Care. She made a huge difference and helped me a lot through difficult times. First of all, her manner in receiving the patient makes one feel much more relaxed and positive. She is also the best nurse I have ever met at installing an IV. While many others rush and make several attempts before finding a good vein, Nurse Lina takes her time, and she is always successful at installing the IV from the first trial without causing any pain whatsoever. She also has such a friendly approach to me that each time I come for treatment, I hope that she will be present and in charge of me. And even if it is not her duty, she always offers her assistance to the other nurse in order to minimize my pain and make me feel better. I so much wish that other nurses could be like her. She is an example of the perfect nurse: Kind, caring, and highly efficient. I cannot thank her enough!
