Kylie has excelled even more in her ANM role this past year. Kylie is knowledgeable not only in critical care but also in effective communication with her nursing staff and other departments. Kylie is a "go-to" person for her staff for any question, problem, or advice. Kylie's door is always open, and she always wants to help in any way she can. She takes patient assignments regularly to avoid unsafe ratios, always helps in responding to RRTs, and always takes the extra initiative to help other units in order to help other nurses and patients. Kylie is a nurse leader who truly believes and guides her practice by the idea that "the patient comes first." Kylie is an active role model in the ICU. New nurses always look to her for guidance and advice in their new role. Kylie was a role model for me when I first started in the ICU. Her calm and relatable personality always helps ease any nerves somebody has. Kylie has been a great nurse, preceptor, peer, leader, and friend.
