Robert "Bob" Pearce has been a nurse at Valley Regional for over 5.5 years and is a cherished member of our Med/Surg Team. Bob spends the extra time with his patients to explain their care in a way they understand and makes them feel involved. He shows incredible compassion and kindness to every single person he cares for.

My mother was admitted to the Med/Surg floor for comfort care...Robert treated Mom with respect, explaining everything he was going to do... he leaned over and told her he was there to take care of her and make her comfortable. He was also concerned about my needs. He is truly a professional who loves what he does. He was a blessing - like an angel to help us through the night.

He was very personable... and he really cares for his patients as if they were his own family. He took the time to explain what care my husband was getting and what to expect for the outcome.
