Nurse Laura was so kind while she took care of our daughter. She was funny, light-hearted, and was always honest and straightforward with our 12-year-old.  She was real with her. She did what she said and said what she did. Nurse Laura even told our daughter what was to come even before it happened. She was upfront with what was to come the next day, even though she would be off, so our daughter wouldn't be caught off guard, and so that our daughter was always in the know. She made her feel at ease and comfortable. She knew that my daughter was uncomfortable with needles and her veins were difficult.  She reached out to her colleagues and fellow nurses for help. She knew who would be able to help and assist to help make the process of putting in a needle in her small, almost invisible veins an easier and more comfortable process.  

Nurse Laura asked her colleagues and eased my daughter's fears, and that made a world of difference for us. Nurse Laura was attentive and knew exactly what she needed to do. She took the time to talk to us and explain everything to us. She not only made my daughter feel comfortable, she made us feel comfortable. We knew we were in great hands with Nurse Laura. 

She is an amazing Nurse, who loves what she does and knows what she is doing.  We were so lucky to have had Nurse Laura on our first day being admitted into the hospital.
