Margaret provided exceptional care and compassion for our mom.
With grateful hearts, we would like to thank a nurse who went above and beyond to bring comfort and support to our family. Our mom unexpectedly came down with pneumonia and went into septic shock. She was in the ICU and then transferred to the PCU, where, unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. She had multiple organ failures, and before we knew it, she was in comfort care.
As Medical professionals ourselves, we recognize when someone puts their heart into their work. Margaret provided exceptional care and compassion for our mom. She provided outstanding care not only for our mom but also endless support for our entire family, both in great and small ways. Her professionalism and medical knowledge were evident throughout the challenging moments and difficult decisions that we had to make. She supported us in making the best decisions for our mom and our family. Her professionalism also assisted in creating boundaries that were needed to support her patient (our mom), as well.
Margaret, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Our mom was an amazing woman. It was hard to let her go, but you cared for us well, giving us sound knowledge, coaching us to rest, and supporting us spiritually and physically. When mom was moved to comfort care, you called down to dietary, and the hospital provided us with sandwiches and soda. To the hospital, thank you for caring for families in this way. You made that transition a little bit easier.
Margaret, our loss has been difficult and challenging, but your support has helped us in moving forward. Blessings and thank you.

Margaret went out of her way to connect with my sister-in-law, who was very emotional after suffering from a small stroke and losing her husband shortly before. Margaret gave her great care, advocated for her, and provided a sense of security for her. She was also excellent at coordinating with other providers, which allowed for an overall excellent level of care. Thank you, Margaret! I know how hard you and other nurses work!
