During a routine clinic visit, I was lucky enough to have nurse Tamra come into my room to draw a lab. She entered the room smiling and introduced herself. She was very easy to talk to and was very compassionate. I felt comfortable enough to ask her if she was enjoying her job. At the time of my appointment, I have been thinking of making changes in my own nursing career. Tamra spoke very highly of her coworkers, providers, leadership, and patients. She voiced a genuine love for her job and asked if I was looking for employment after establishing that I was a nurse. It wasn’t long before I received a job interview and a job offer. 

Tamra is now orientating me in my new job role. I’ve watched her provide phenomenal care to her patients with the ability to interpret each of their unique needs. She looks for ways to help her coworkers and always has positive things to say about each and every one of them. She recognizes their strengths and encourages and guides me to provide the best care for our patients. She is an incredible asset to the care team.
