My son’s girlfriend was pregnant with her second baby, and they had lost the first. When she became pregnant, we were all very anxious. She went into labor with a water break on Sunday. Lindsay decided to check her dilation and was quick to notice that the umbilical cord was down. Thankfully, she recognized this and then proceeded to hold the baby’s head up until the emergency C-section was done. Lindsay is the difference between a good nurse and a great nurse. She will never know how much we appreciate that we have a beautiful baby girl alive and well, because of her. Lindsay and her actions are a great example of a DAISY Nurse.
