She took more initiative than any other LPN I have ever worked with, and anticipated needs to best assist me, the patients and the floor.
Audra Treadway took initiative and activated the RRT response which led to the prompt arrival of all personnel needed for my patient. She overheard what was going on with my patient and didn't need any prompting in order to activate this response. Throughout the RRT, she was readily available on the floor as the only "license" not completely in the room at the time and answered call bells that occurred during the RRT and when not doing that, stood outside the room to grab supplies and interventions we asked for and chart vitals she heard calling out in real time. She took more initiative than any other LPN I have ever worked with, and anticipated needs to best assist me, the patients and the floor. On top of being an exceptional patient care nurse and truly caring for her patients, this LPN stepped up to take the role as NCOIC for our unit and still assists with managerial tasks on the floor such as ordering supplies, reaching out to soldiers about UA's and overall maintaining a prepared environment on the floor.
