Kayla Newman is one of those nurses that helps you to shape and grow into an exceptional nurse. She has always lent a helping hand in times of chaos and calmness. She has only ever said uplifting things toward other people and as a charge nurse she goes above and beyond to ensure the team is situated, comfortable, and educated in the best ways. She has always made me feel as though our success is her success. She often will tell us how to improve and grow but in a way that allows us to... without shame but understanding. Kayla deserves recognition because she is the epitome of an exceptional Texas Children's nurse that you will never forget- and she is the teacher that everyone deserves.
