Amber was our light when we literally had no light or power while at work.  She handled the internal disaster/Code Green with grace & kept us “afloat,” all while keeping us & our patients safe.  Amber is a quick and active thinker and does even better under pressure.  We are thankful for her dedication to this department.

Amber came in on her day off (the opposite shift time she works), the day before her birthday to cover for someone that was sick.  Shortly after coming in to work, we had a critical pediatric patient whom she was immensely helpful with as well as continuously checking on the patient & primary nurse throughout their stay.  Amber is a phenomenal CRL, full of knowledge, and is always willing to help/go hands-on with staff.  She’s repeatedly charged or picked up extra shifts even when it’s not her normal shift time.  The day shift crew is extremely appreciative!

Amber did an excellent job of keeping everyone calm: providers, staff, and patients. She communicated in a calm, effective manner, keeping everyone informed. Amber quickly began facilitating transfer for those who needed to be transferred to the main campus. Amber was still smiling and had a positive attitude when I arrived at Maryvale, and she maintained that throughout the incident. Amber remained calm and did everything she needed to do to continue “normal” operations.
