I was ultimately admitted to your facility with possible internal bleeding. Overall, the Emergency Department, even though stressed by the large number requesting their help on this exceptionally cold evening, made what seemed proper periodic checks on me. There were more people than available treatment rooms. The care given to me was very much appreciated. I was admitted and placed in a room when it became available. Immediately in the hall, before I was wheeled into the room, Nurse Kristi Edington and her support team member met with me and introduced themselves. Nurse Kristi's presence and demeanor showed a sincere supportive attitude and care of how I was feeling, and any needs I might have had. Once in the room during her next two shifts, Nurse Kristi was so positive and reassuring. This level of "customer service" and people skills truly made a stressful and concerning trip to the hospital so much better. I feel that every level of care provider gave me nothing but the best care. Nurse Kristi expedited my discharge papers and was very thorough in what I needed to do. Having worked 40 years with the public, I find it refreshing to truly have a team of professionals working together to meet my medical needs. Everyone that I encountered was great! All I can speak to is my experience, and in this case, it was a positive one. I have and will continue to speak positively of your facility and staff from my personal experiences.
