When we are asked to select someone who demonstrates compassion, collaboration, clinical excellence, and the ability to listen, serve, guide, and heal, the first person that comes to mind for me is Nama. She's always willing to offer a hand, regardless of whether she's working as a charge nurse, on the floor, or even in a different area of our unit. Nama always has a positive attitude and a pleasant demeanor, no matter the situation. She shows great compassion and empathy towards our patients, providing care with integrity and advocacy. She is a wonderful coworker to have on your team and a great resource to have on the unit. I appreciate her leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, especially with our more difficult and complicated patients. She demonstrates these and many more great qualities, all while maintaining a great sense of humor. Nama is an excellent nurse that I'm grateful to have as a part of the Neuro team!
