Kendall was our labor and delivery nurse while delivering our second child. Kendall was the one who settled us upon arrival, provided constant education and support throughout an induction process that was very new to us, and saw the birth through until the end. When we first arrived, we had quite a few questions for Kendall regarding how the day may look for us. She was incredibly patient and listened to all of our questions and concerns. No suggestion for the labor or delivery was met with skepticism, and she was open to considering all options for our care.

Kendall routinely checked in on us during her shift. We came to look forward to seeing Kendall not only because an update on our status may be coming, but she was such a source of comfort in a time full of nervous excitement. She definitely made us feel safe when approaching her with any questions that came up.

Lastly, Kendall was just as excited for us to have our child as we were. She was very encouraging and understanding throughout it all. As she was nearing shift change at the end of her day, Kendall reiterated to us that she had already confirmed with her supervisor that she would be able to stay at work until our baby was delivered. She could have gone home at the end of her shift like many nurses would have, but she put us first, and we felt so valued at that moment. Kendall was instrumental in our very successful delivery, and we cannot imagine it going so well if not for her constant support all day long. Kendall is the epitome of an exceptional nurse who puts her patients’ needs above her own. We will never forget the care and compassion provided by Kendall, and we know that any future mom would be blessed to deliver their child under her care.
