I have been to this ER hospital since I was in my 20s. I have had so many nurses, surgical stays, and especially the ER! I am now 55, so you know I’ve been a patient here for many years. The most exceptional nurses today at my ER visit include three nurses and registration staff. These four women are patient, kind, empathetic, and quick to care for you, not just physically but emotionally as well. They know their jobs well and are very knowledgeable in the medical field. They have more patience than any other I’ve seen. Absolutely the best nurses I’ve ever seen anywhere.

I’ve had the pleasure of being cared for by Mrs. Jessica Toomer, who presents an atmosphere of comfort, care, and professionalism. She is quick to comfort and care in all aspects of this medical unit. She is exceptional at her job, and believe me, her patience is amazing! I’m a mental health patient, and I am homeless. I am not easy to care for times. I came in from dehydration, hunger, and psychosis and walked in with no shoes, water, or food. I’ve lived in and slept in the woods. She got me everything I would need to care for myself in this Texas heat. Shoes, snacks, you name it. To me, she goes above and beyond to care for patients.
