Our loved one, my mother-in-law, had been moved unexpectedly from her room on the 7th floor to the Intensive Care Unit. We were extremely concerned about her health and had many questions about her condition, current lab work, and diagnosis. Her nurse, Emma, was very helpful in answering our questions and explaining everything to us. She was knowledgeable as well as kind, courteous and professional.

The next day, as my mother-in-law's health deteriorated, Emma was there to provide care to her and answer questions from an extremely concerned family. Her professionalism was noted in everything she said and did. As we were feeling anxious, worried, and eventually tremendous grief, Emma maintained a high level of care and provided the best care that she possibly could, even during the end-of-life devastation for us. We greatly appreciated Emma's kind words, gentle care, respect, and true professionalism during one of the most challenging, heartbreaking experiences for our family. We wanted to take time to say thank you to Emma and let her know how her caring nature was noticed, and so appreciated. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful nurse. Thank you, Emma.
