My little girl arrived in tears and within minutes of being in Levi's presence, he had her calmed down and smiling.
I had to bring my daughter to the ED Thursday evening. I am an employee here, and know how amazing the staff is, so we chose to come here. I would love to recognize Levi Lantz for his extraordinary nursing. His special attention to my daughter resulted in him earning the title "bestie." I believe it takes a special quality of human beings to be so kind, patient, uplifting, and empathetic toward a child, especially in a hospital setting that can often be scary. My little girl arrived in tears and within minutes of being in Levi's presence, he had her calmed down and smiling. I know firsthand how busy we have been. My daughter's reason for being here wasn't as "emergent" as some of our patients but required immediate attention. I know that often patients less in need can sometimes go unattended to but also understand that nurses do need to prioritize patients on a level of severity. My little girl didn't get any less attention than anyone else. Levi made sure to give her the best care possible. His level of empathy is unmatched and deserves recognition. We had the best possible experience here thanks to our wonderful nursing staff, but again, Levi is one of those individuals who just made a special impact on our experience here. My daughter was absolutely adamant that I make sure everyone knows how great he is. She was even sad to leave here, as he had already finished his shift. She was unable to say "good-bye." Having nurses as awesome as Levi here at Pelham is the reason that I don't want to take my family anywhere else if we are ever in need again.
