Solonie Infronon is well-known for her work ethic. She is a senior nurse, reliable, knowledgeable, and skillful as well as very kind and humble. She has a very positive attitude and a smile that never leaves her face for both patients and colleagues. She was one of our key members in PACU during the last CBAHI accreditation survey.

One of her patient stories is related to pain management. She doesn’t manage pain only pharmacologically but ensures patient comfort through changes in position and reassurance.

Another patient story is related to the care of a patient post-dilation and curettage. This patient presented to PACU post OR with a non-stop cry. Solonie’s support of the patient left her feeling better.

Another patient story is related to a patient post-surgery with spinal anesthesia who presented to PACU anxious about the numbness in her lower extremities. Solonie taught the patients about the expectations post spinal anesthesia in the first hours and the related need for bed restriction for 6 hours. The patient was relieved by Solonie’s explanation.
