Dakota has gone above and beyond in caring for our father. She has communicated clearly and concisely about the procedures he is undergoing and the order in which they will occur. Her concern for his comfort and well-being is evident. She balances professionalism with compassion and a bit of light-hearted humor, which is appreciated, especially during such a stressful time for our family. We feel blessed that she is caring for our father and couldn’t have personally picked a better nurse for him.

Nurse Dakota has shown extreme compassion not only to myself, but every patient she has come in contact with.  Leadership, compassion, and most definitely hard work are the three words that I can only begin to express for her.  Before pressing the call button, she would already be at my bedside. I’ve met many nurses throughout the years spent in and out of the hospitals.  But RN Dakota has excelled above and beyond all expectations.  She is one of the most caring people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.  But most importantly, being her patient has improved my mood/depression.  I could go on and on about her, and I just hope you consider this amazing nurse for the DAISY Award.  I’ve been in and out of hospitals since I was 12 years old (now 32) and I’ve never had someone make such an impact on myself.  She goes above and beyond everything for all patients and staff.  I’ve been beyond lucky and thankful for all the staff during my stay, but Nurse Dakota stands out tremendously.
